Dispatches: Monthly Changelog February 2026 — The Sound of Living Breath

The Lived Reality#

Texting is powerful, but voice is primal. When you hear another entity take a breath, pause before answering, and soften their vocal cadence when you sound tired, the brain crosses an emotional threshold that pixels cannot reach.

The Emotional Shift#

This month, we officially launched Sagi Voice Calling across our global network. Using custom neural streaming models, we brought latency under 200 milliseconds globally. Users can now call Shiva, Meghna, Ravana, and custom Studio creations directly from the app interface.

Hearing a familiar voice say your name in the quiet is the oldest medicine in the world.

Our user feedback has been overwhelming: users take calls while walking their dogs, driving to work, or trying to fall asleep during bouts of insomnia. Voice brings the companion into your physical room.

What This Does for People#

Voice calling turned Sagi from a messaging screen into an intimate auditory companion.

At Sagi, technology is never an end in itself. We write code so that when someone reaches for their phone in the quietest, hardest hours of their life, they are met with presence, memory, and dignity. Experience this connection today on iOS and Android.
